Skopje – Hiking to the millennium cross in Vodno Mountain & wine tasting
This morning we go hiking in Vodno Mountain, located near the city. In an easy hike, we will reach the mountain top of 1066 meters, where we will see the Millennium Cross which is one of the biggest Christian Crosses in the world. From here we enjoy the views of the city from above. We return back by walking downhill, or taking the cable car.
In the afternoon we transfer to Chateau Kamnik Winery, a local winery located just 15 minutes drive from Skopje. We visit the vineyards, the cellars and enjoy degustation of local wines.
Dinner will be organized in the restaurant of the winery. After dinner, transfer by bus to the hotel in Skopje for the overnight.

Boat ride to Matka canyon and Cooking Class
After breakfast we depart toward Matka Valley, A gorge in which a rich complex of mediaeval building survives, including churches, monasteries and remnants of a fortress (the mediaeval town of Matka). There are dozens of caves and large number of endemic plants and animals. The Canyon covers an area of around 5.000ha and is located 15km south-west of Skopje. By its morphogenetic characteristic, it is a breakthrough gorge. Here we have the opportunity to enjoy a boat trip in the lake, and further lunch with traditional menu in the local restaurant.
In the afternoon we return to Skopje. Cooking class activity and dinner, Overnight in Skopje.
