A 4 days program, through the main sites of North Macedonia, including its capital city Skopje and the UNESCO town of Ohrid, a boat tour through one of the oldest lakes in the world, cooking class with local special menus, degustation of delicious Macedonian wines and a self drive through the National park of Mavrovo.

Arrival Airport – Skopje (30 min) – Wine tasting and welcome dinner (20 min)
Arrival at Skopje Airport. Meet with the guide and transfer to the hotel in Skopje city center.
After check in, transfer to Chateau Kamnik Winery, a local winery located just 15 minutes drive from Skopje. We visit the vineyards, the cellars and enjoy degustation of local wines.
Dinner will be organized in the restaurant of the winery. After dinner, transfer by bus to the hotel in Skopje for the overnight.
Skopje – Cooking class at a local restaurant in Demir Kapija (1.5 hrs) – Ohrid (3 hrs) Boat tour
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we begin our exploration of Macedonia, driving towards the city of Ohrid * UNESCO.
Along the way we pass the archaeological site of Stobi, where we can stop for a short visit for those who are passionate on archaeology.
Further stop at a local restaurant in the small town of Demir Kapija, a town known for its wine cellars.
We spent the day with an interesting cooking class program, with one of the best chefs in the country. Lunch will be organized in the restaurant, after the cooking class.
We arrived in Ohrid in the afternoon. Upon arrival, we begin a relaxing boat trip on Lake Ohrid, one of the deepest and oldest lakes in the world.
After the boat tour, we enjoy a guided tour of the old town of Ohrid. We enter the cathedral of Santa Sofía, a construction of the eleventh century, see the amphitheatre and visit Ohrid fortress
Dinner at a local restaurant by the lake, and overnight in Ohrid.
Ohrid – Jeep self-drive to Mavrovo National Park (2.5 hours) – Visit of St Bigorski Monastery – Skopje (2 hours)
After breakfast, we continue driving towards Skopje. We take the jeeps and start a self drive day, through the mountain road, connecting Ohrid with the Mavrovo National Park. (the road is paved)
While in Mavrovo we visit the Monastery of St. Jovan Bigorski, one of the most visited monasteries in Macedonia.
While we are in the national park, we can take a short walk, before continuing our trip to Skopje. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant in Skopje, with live music, folkshow performances and traditional menu. This evening we can learn a few steps of the Macedonian folk dances.
Skopje – Return flight
Breakfast at the hotel. If time permit, we take a city tour of Skopje, before our transfer to the airport for your return flight.
