Arrival Skopje
Arrival in Skopje, the capital of Macedonia. Visit of the city that includes the center, the old bazaar, the fortress, the memorial house of Mother Teresa and the stone bridge. Dinner and accommodation in Skopje. Tour of Macedonia Kosovo.

Skopje – Mavrovo National Park – Bigorski Monastery – Ohrid
Transfer to Ohrid. Along the way we stop at the Mavrovo National Park, where we can enjoy the landscapes and nature. Here we will also visit the Monastery of San Jovan Bigorski. Tucked away on a mountain side near the main road between Debar and Gostivar and dedicated to John the Baptist, the history of this monastery masterpiece is said to date back 1,000 years. Afternoon in Ohrid, and visit of the old town, with entrance to the church of Santa Sofia. Then we pass near the church of St. Jovan Kaneo, old bazaar, Ohrid fortifications, King Solomon’s fortress, ancient theater. Accommodation in Ohrid.

Ohrid – Tirana
Transfer to the capital city of Albania, Tirana. Visit of the city, the largest in Albania, founded in 1614. We will visit Skanderberg Square, the main symbol of the city, with the equestrian statue of the national hero. In front of it we will see the Clock Tower, 35 meters high; the Et´hemBey Mosque, where pilgrims from all over the world arrive; the National Library and the Palace of Culture;
We will visit the bazaar that was recently rebuilt, and transformed into a vivid area of shops and restaurants. We will pass through Tirana Castle, an area that shows some remains of the city, also converted into a pedestrian tourist area with traditional buildings, shops and restaurants. Tirana – Kruja – Shkodra
This morning, transfer to the city of Kruja, known as the “city of history”, especially as it is Skanderberg’s hometown. We will start the visit of Kruja with its Castle, and visit the Skanderbeg museum, within the castle walls. Visit of the old bazaar, where we can see the local artisans. Afterwards, transfer to Shkodra, one of the largest cities in northwest Albania and one of the oldest and most historical cities in the country. We will see the Castle of Rozafa, of Venetian origin, and enjoy the views of the city from the Castle. After the visit of the city of Shkodra, including the old town and the Churches. Shkodra – Budva – Podgorica
Today we drive to Budva, a medieval coastal town in Montenegro. Visit the old town of Budva, a charming completely walled neighborhood that still preserves traits of its past under Venetian rule in its buildings. Time for lunch on the beach or old city. In the afternoon, transfer to the capital city of Montenegro, Podgorica. Free time to stroll around the city center, and accommodation in Podgorica.

Podgorica – Kolasin – Peja
In the morning, transfer to Kolasin, a small town surrounded by high mountains and the two rivers, Tara and Moraca. Due to its altitude of about 1000 meters and the favorable climate, Kolasin is considered a natural SPA area. Then we move to Kosovo, driving for about 3.5 hours through a panoramic mountain road which connects Kosovo and Montenegro. In the afternoon we will visit the town of Peja and the Decan Monastery. Visoki Decani Monastery, is the first cultural monument in the territory of the province of Kosovo, which was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. A good example of well-preserved Byzantine art from the 14th century with the walls covered with images that represent scenes from the Old Testament mixed with fantastic ships and legendary animals. Peja – Prizren – Skopje
Today we return to Macedonia, for our last night in Skopje. Along the way, we stop in Prizren, a small touristic town in Kosovo, which is also part of UNESCO. Visit of the city center, and time for lunch. Free afternoon in Skopje, dinner and overnight. Tour of Macedonia Kosovo
